The PCA Board has elected Jack Poplar to fill the vacant slot for the local association. Jack is very prominent in the cycling community, particularly in the Lancaster area, serving as Chief Referee at many events and is a co-promoter of the Grandview GP Criterium. The PCA Annual Governance meeting will be held on Saturday February 9th at the Eden Resort and Suites in Lancaster from 12 PM to 4 PM. Every year team representatives, promoters, and officials gather in Lancaster for the annual governance meeting. This meeting is important to all USAC licensed riders as the PCA membership sets the direction for the new racing season and beyond. Beginning in 2013, USA Cycling will enact the following changes as it relates to upgrades to road and cyclocross licenses. Cyclocross upgrades The Cyclocross upgrade section was rewritten to more closely match the road. There are two ways to upgrade, voluntary and mandatory.
