The Bicycle Racing League (ages 9-16)

Learn the basics of bicycle racing at your own pace in a fun and social environment that fosters camaraderie and teamwork.

 

Spring Bicycle Racing League

Date: April 15th-May 23rd (Every Monday and Thursday)

Time: 5:30-7:30 PM

Bicycle Racing League

This program helps young riders learn the fundamentals of the velodrome and helps familiarize them with riding on the track in a racing context. Programming involves developing and improving the skills that relate to racing and race situations.

Air Products Community Program (ages 9 and up)

Cost: FREE

Learn to ride a fixed gear bike on the Velodrome under the guidance of professional instructors.

  • Bikes are provided.
  • Participants are responsible for bringing their helmets, a water bottle, and wearing comfortable clothes for riding.
  • Each block of classes runs for 3 weeks with 2 classes per week
  • Each class is 1.5 hour

 

Squirts & Weeble Wobbles

Cost: FREE

Designed for children ages 5 and up who are learning to ride their first bikes – this program takes kids from training wheels to pedaling on their own.

  • Participants must provide their own bicycles and helmets.
  • Classes meet on Sunday mornings during the summer months.
  • Each class is 1 hour.

 

Pee-Wee Pedalers

Cost: FREE

Pee-Wee Pedalers picks up where Squirts & Weeble Wobbles leaves off and introduces young riders to more advanced skills and the thrill of riding on the velodrome. Pee-Wee participants must be able to ride without training wheels. The focus is on having fun while learning skills and safety.

  • Participants must provide their own bicycles and helmets.
  • Classes meet on Sunday mornings during the summer months.
  • Each class is 1 hour.

 

TRY-the-TRACK

Our team of professional instructors provide a safe and engaging environment for kids and adults of all ages to learn skills such as coordination, balance, agility, perseverance, and above all, fun with bikes.

In this one-time class:

  •  Bikes are provided.
  • Participants are responsible for bringing their helmets, a water bottle, and wearing comfortable clothes for riding.
  • Requires a minimum of 10 or more riders to schedule.
  • Class runs in average between 2.5 to 3 hours.
  •  Dates are scheduled based on request by the interested group and availability of facility
